This is fun to speculate on...
But realistically when you see in Fight Night the video game a Jack Johnson next to Tyson Fury the difference looks bigger than your imagining.
Now it's only a video game but I think A tyson Fury against a 200lb Fighter is totally 100% unrealistic.
Fury against a top cruiserweight is a mismatch.

Just taking as an example a rather low A rated fighter like a Jack Sharkey the difference incredible
your basically taking a circus freak vs a guy in the audience 6-0 200lbs maybe one guy in the crowd could maybe not looked embarrassed against a genetic circus freak but your odds are very low.

The scale is titled way too far for modern science. Vitali Klitschko or a Tyson Fury against average sized men. They both are genetic freaks. Plus your taking a far more privative time in the sport (a legend) and adding to an already existing super handicap it's far to unrealistic of an ask.

I do believe same as others Joe Louis. Your going to need someone who can drop Giants. Like Carnera. I don't think Dempsey has the defense to make an advantage against a modern fighter. Sam Langford walking straight forward would get bombed by Joshua no matter what Joshua would be landing eventually and they are getting rocked by men out their worst nightmare size wise.

I think Pioneers can do good for a time frame forward in history like to the 60's maybe. Not 2026.

Depends what Fury turns up.

If Fury goes with the Wilder 2 approach then he probably gets Spinks out of there.

But if he chooses to box vs Spinks he will have a very awkward night on his hands.

 

The same Fury who had to rely on dirty tactics to beat a feather fisted past his prime Steve Cunningham is not going to beat great heavyweights smaller than Usyk.

Fury is a good fighter at best. His entire career consists of beating a gun shy past it Wlad (a good win) and he ducked that rematch, and 2 wins vs Wilder who was protected his whole career.

That's it. The guy somehow missed fighting every top heavyweight of his era, struggled vs Cunningham, McDermott, was arguably gifted a decision vs an MMA debutant and struggled vs Otto Wallin whom a past it Joshua dispatched with ease.

Making Fury a favourite over the likes of Holmes and Holyfield is crazy.

Fury is far too unproven to choose over all time greats.

 

Spinks nicked two decisions off a past prime Larry Holmes. Assuming Fury is in form, he wins. Holmes would look like a little boy next to Fury.

 

Personally, I could see a prime, 6’1/2” to 6’1”, 211-212 lbs Liston turning the trick, Sonny’s extraordinary reach being just one equaliser, at the least, contained within Liston’s combined and formidable physical/skill arsenal.

I'm gonna go with Jack Johnson. Who acquitted himself quite well against the much larger Jess willard even winning if the fight had merely lasted 20 rounds. Fury struggled with an MMA fighter. Got dropped by light hitting 206lbs Steve Cunningham. Johnson with his grappling experience would have an easy time neutralising one of Fury's biggest strengths his clinch game and with his overall athleticism I could see him winning a decision or even knocking him out. Fury's also a bit of a mental case so I can see Jack's taunting getting to his head.
