Everyone knows that you cant be a champ without at least an average chin, but O was curious what were some champs with bad chins or even just ok ones. Everyone knows guys like Patterson and some would consider Lennoxs chin to be just ok, Khan as well but to me it was more his bad defense couple with his average jaw.

Herbie Hide, Bruce Seldon and Amir Khan are the first that spring to mind.

Nine times out of ten, it's not the chin, it's the defense or lack there of. Some guys are simply too offensive minded for their own good.

I don't think Vargas' chin was particularly bad until after Tito pummeled it for 12 rnds.

This. Oliver McCall KO'd him with relatively weak punch, Whitaker KTOF'd Oleg cold with right jab, Kirk Johnson knocked him out cold throuh the ropes, etc. Jorneyman T-Rex Sanders was hopeless losing every round untill he found that egg chin with his punch. Guess what happened. It's unbelievable how Hasim Rahman never in 20 rounds managed to drop such a glass-chinned opponent.

Maskaev the only world level fighter I ever seen get knocked completely senseless by a counter jab in round 2 by a fighter that was barely even top 20....................and it was so ridiculous that Lance Whitaker looked shocked he had knocked him out.

When your opponent is shocked they knocked you out, it's bad

If you've never seen it, go to youtube
