I usually like to see boxers active but in Wardleys case I would have preferred him to take a year out to recover from that beating. Just way too soon.

Good fight. Wardley took a horrible beating, but he's a warrior, perhaps still young enough to come back, and he hits hard enough to make it interesting.

Think it's going to be even worse this time unfortunately. Wardley just doesn't have the fundamentals to compete at the highest level. Lamb to the slaughter

Wardley can be put in some exciting fights, but he's not going to beat Dubois.

Only way Wardley win is to jump on Dubois early. He dropped and hurt Dubois twice but gassed and ate to many punches to be effective in latter rounds. If he doesn't get the early KO it will be a repeat of first fight.

Like before the first Fight the probability of a wardley ko is overrated. Wardley ko'd huni and parker was exhausted not knocked out.

Dubois is another kind of chin. And wardley again won't get dubois to quit. No way. Dubois knows he wins this if he just doesn't get knocked out. So he will not quit.

Don't see how wardley wins this. Dubois has better technique, experience, everything.

Wardley has speed (which doesn't beat dubois' jab) and chin (which only led to the beating he took last fight)

Same here. A 5 month turnaround here is insane.
There is no way he has fully recovered in time for a full camp. I recently hurt my shoulder and its taken nearly 2 months to get it feeling normal again, this man took a careers worth of beatings in a single night, and his 2 previous fights were no cake walks either.

Tim Bradley said that after the Provodnikov fight he had slurred speech for several months, and I fully believe him. The brain is a muscle, and not that different from other muscles - it needs time to heal, and it can heal. Wardley should have taken 6 months off of any training, besides basic cardio - this means no bag work or mitt work, shadowboxing is OK. Then do a camp and a tuneup fight, then get back into the title picture.

This is dangerous. Wardley hasn't even done any media since the first fight, and all of a sudden he's decided to do the rematch this early? Wow...

I've been thinking he hasn't done any media appearances due to the extensive damage he sustained.

It will be like Zhang vs Joyce II. Worse beating than in the first fight.

They both deserve an easy tune up fight at this point considering this current boxing landscape.

    Brave from both fighters.

This is what Roy Jones did and it impacted his ability to take a punch for the rest of his life.

Wardley should have taken a year off, yes he may miss out, but after Dubois curb stomps him again he could be completely finished.

    Shame.

Bradley never recovered from Ruslan. I know this from years of hearing his torturous and moronic commentary.

Like others have said, I think it's too soon for Wardely to return. His brains are probably still scrambled. His team is nuts to allow this fight.

I hope this time there will be an honest referee who will stop Dubois from head butting. Howard Foster did a poor job in the first fight.

Wardley was doing well, he knocked Dubois down twice early in the fight, until he as badly cut by deliberate head butts.
