Would you agree that Usyk, Fury, Joshua, Dubois and Parker are the top five heavies of the era?

Wilder is absolutely defined within the 2010s-2020s era of HW boxing.

Fury's legacy in this era is tied with him, they are as inseparable as Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.

Wilder was victorious in 11 WBC title fights.

    Nobody else is close.

Dubois, with two title wins, certainly isn't.

Wilder has opponents like Tyson Fury (successful title defense), Luis Ortiz (twice), Robert Helenius, Derek Chisora, Bermane Stiverne twice, Chris Arreola, Gerald Washington, Johann Duhaupas, Sergei Liakhovich, Dominic Breazeale ... all of whom are certainly on par with other names being floated on lists here.

Seriously, how much blind hate is their on this board where you include a guy with two title fight wins and ignore a guy with 11 title fight victories and ruled for five years?

    These threads are ridiculous.

Six months ago, Wardley was on the list as having a better resume than Wilder.

Every time a British guy wins a big fight, he's one of the best of an era.

Six months from now, Dubois will be off this same list.

I would have Kabayel ahead of Parker based on consistency. It's enough in my opinion to offset Parkers deeper resume because he has so many losses and close calls and those count as well

He has an irrational hatred for Parker (probably because he beat up Wilder in such a one-sided fashion).

I'd largely agree with your top 5 at the moment, but it is subject to change.

I wouldn't. Kabayel hasn't really been as consistent as he should have been over the years, and Parker has beaten more top ranked opponents even in recent times.

Of course, that's subject to change based on what Kabayel does moving forward, but his last fight wasn't exactly a confidence booster.

Usyk, Fury, Joshua, Wilder, Parker. What would Dirty Ds resume look like with all of his incessant fouling? I'd favor Wilder in his prime to KO him although that one could of course go the other way too. Parker also likely outpoints him. Look at how one sided both of Dirty Ds fights with Usyk were. Chisora, Joshua and Fury were also much more competitive.

Yeah, there's a reason why DDD avoided Parker, because he knew it was his only chance of getting another bout against Usyk.

I like Kabayel and he may well be the 2nd best HW right now, but he hasn't really done anything yet. Wilder, Parker, and even Whyte are all clearly ahead of him in terms of career accomplishment, which is what this thread is about.

He hasn't really done much to show that yet, even if I do think that fight would be rather competitive.

"Six months from now, Dubois will be off the same list"

I doubt it. Dubois has a good chance of being a HoF HW when all is said and done.

Dubois is a 2x HW titlist at 28, with 4 world title fights. At the same age, Wilder had barely been added to contention.

Dubois has notable stoppage wins over:

    - Undefeated Miller (likely the best American HW at that moment)

    - Undefeated contender favourite Hrgovic

    - Former 2x unified titlist future HoF favourite Joshua (5 round blowout)

    - Undefeated favourite titlist Wardley (brutal HW classic war, fight of the year contender)

With two of his three losses coming against undefeated ATG Usyk.

Assuming Dubois will lose in 6 months and fade into obscurity is a bold claim at this point.

Parker or Wilder for fifth place; that's the only debate.
