Probably because he was the banana peel that cost him AJ v Wilder.

Maybe he can fight the winner of Dubois vs Wardley 2 or the loser

Seems like a nice guy, but the constant sucking on Fury’s pipe and social media attention by association is jarring

Sometimes Joseph Parker and Greedy Belly seem like a gay couple - or are they just cocaine buddies?

    Probably plays a part

No promotion seems to have been overly bothered about him tbh

Eh, it's probably a key reason he gets big fights. Much as I hate it you have to promote yourself somehow.

I'd be genuinely curious as to how their friendship formed because when I first heard of it I was a bit confused as to how they would have clicked in the boxing world.

Maybe rematch Wardley...or Joyce? Both are winnable but putting his Wardley loss right puts him right back in the mix. I like big JP..

What is the point of rematching Joyce? He's fallen off a cliff. A win over him is less than meaningless atp.

    Agreed.

Parker needs a good lower-level tune-up on a big card - then onto the big boys

I'm a critic of "Parkerism" but given his last 4 opponents were Wilder, Zhang, Bakole and Wardley I see why he did it. If he fights Usyk or someone like that he'd be best served weighting 230 something.
