Like most boxing broadcasters these days, he’s there because he’s good at parroting the company line and hyping a fight. Woolhouse is exactly the same. Their interest in boxing started the day their agent suggested the gig to them. And that’s fine, because ‘boxing people’ don’t necessarily make the best broadcasters.

But ffs, know your role and stay in your lane. Don’t think because you’re good at hyping whatever Eddie, Frank or Turki tell you it suddenly makes you knowledgable on boxing history. Keep your mouth shut and stick to what you know.
