In this video, boxing analyst A Guy Called Henry breaks down the patterns, weaknesses and stylistic details that could decide Itauma vs Hrgovic. Using footage from Hrgovic’s fights with Zhilei Zhang, Daniel Dubois, David Adeleye and Demsey McKean, we examine his proven vulnerabilities against southpaws—and whether Itauma possesses the speed, movement and counterpunching required to exploit them. But Itauma has revealing tendencies of his own. Could Hrgovic become the first opponent capable of turning those patterns into genuine problems?

Judging by the videos, Itauma’s style is a completely wrong matchup for Hrgovic—speed, power, and excellent evasive skills; Hrgovic will have to rely on his experience and ensure his defense doesn't completely let him down. I can't wait for the fight.

Why can’t you wait? From what you’ll posting there’s only gonna be 1 winner. Where the excitement in that?

    Hrgovic might neutralize Itauma's style.

Hrgovic has looked much better under Abel Sanchez than his previous team.

The eye test for me tells me Itauma looks everything wrong for Hrgovic, the reality though is theres levels to the game and Itauma has not been in with anyone near the pedigree of Hrgovic. This is an interesting fight as it will give us a very good idea on whether Itauma is the real deal or not, if the hype is real, he will dispatch Hrgovic inside the distance and convincingly. Hrgovic is a clever fighter and as Rico rightly stated above has improved since going with Abel Sanchez. He is a legit top 10 heavyweight for me, this is the step up we have been asking for.

Some questions to be answered (Itauma's gas tank, chin), and some things to be proven (Hrgovic's improvements under Abel Sanchez, as we've seen him more orientated towards combinations lately, with that Golovkin cutting left hook and all), but I feel like Filip is going to be the first fighter absolutely willing to punch with Itauma and not just allow him to set his feet and unload combinations and big shots. He has the jab, he has the movement, he has the experience against big punchers like Zhang, Dubois, Adelaye etc.

Hrgovic is really confident, even giving away his gameplan at around 7:20 (or maybe just playing mind games). He's funny too, lol.

Hrgovic-Zhang was a good fight, where Hrgovic was showcasing some good combination punching.

I don't think Dubois is that powerful and Adelaye is just a plodder, Moses is twice as quick.

Itauma is going to destroy Hrgovic, which will hopefully at least somewhat silence all the bleating critics!!

Hrgovic, if the referee isn't scared of some blood, has a very good chance of winning. If Itauma gets the win, I’m putting him firmly in the top 5 at heavyweight.

Haven't seen the video, though maybe it truly reveals Hrgovic has no chance.

You reckon Itauma beats the likes of Dubois and Kabayel as well?

Then there may still be grounds for criticism, for suggesting he's "unproven." My own sense is that Itauma is a future HW champ and he will show this clearly in this fight
