I wouldn’t normally compare a male vs female in boxing, but since Shields has arrogantly called out and claimed to be able to beat many fighters including Thurman and Romero, and also started **** talking a fighter who helped her get rounds in out of his his free time before he brought her back down to reality (Ahmetovs), then after baselessly claiming and making up lies defaming his image by claiming he took the padding out of his gloves, I feel this comparison is fair game.

 

I'm very much against violence against women or women fighting men in combat sports on principle. However, Claressa continually insists she could beat men in the boxing ring. At this point, she may genuinely believe it, despite virtually everyone on the planet telling her otherwise.

If she truly wants to test that claim, at this point, then so be it.
