Canelo lost twice to GGG and I had him losing to Lara. I think he beat Trout.

GGG2 was a draw for me. I couldnt see a GGG win nor a Canelo win. Lara earned a draw, at best. GGG1 was definitely a loss for Canelo.

I will say this though. People had GGG dominating Canelo in fight 1. I had it 7-5 or 6-5-1. My scorecard was different than most. GGG still winning but round-by-round it was close. GGG just closed stronger.

And this is the popularity perspective rather than the actual achievement perspective.

To me shot canelo qnd car crash spence are worth less than still very game donaire and prime nakatani.

Really, canelo and spence were big names at the time, but I was really waiting for canelo to finally get his loss. He looked awful in a number of fights before that and stopped taking challenges.

I think it is just the lack of interest for the lower weight classes. If every weight class had the same amount of interest going with it, noone would doubt inoue like they do

Eh, they're practically even in my mind. It's hard to really separate hairs here. Canelo and Spence just have more prestige is all.

But I agree in regards to Canelo. He looked awful vs Scull. That was not the performance of a guy that is a top 10 P4Per anymore. He looked so bad I felt even I could beat him. Though I will say that he definitely showed up in way better form vs Crawford than he did for Scull. We'll really have to wait for the Mbilli fight to see where he's at.

I also don't really rate Nakatani as highly as most people. Sure he's a 3 division champion, but I see it in the same way a guy as mid as Broner was a 4 division champion and Zab Judah was undisputed Welterweight champion despite losing to every top guy he faced. Just really fortunate circumstances, mostly. Though Nakatani probably is better than either Broner or Judah based on the eye test.

But 2 of his 3 divisional titles were won because of vacancy politics and he never unified in either, beating mostly unknowns while at it. And his Bantamweight reign is just him picking up what Inoue left behind while missing many of the top guys there like Tsutsumi, Takuma and Higa. I see his resume as comparable to somebody like say, Jaron Ennis. It's not even a case of the lower weights being weak, coz 118 is stacked, but he just hasn't fought them. Nishida is the only real standout.

I'm not sure I can put Junto over Spence given that Spence basically did all the work at 147 by beating all the champions, while Bud just sat on his ass after Horn, beating Spence victims after Spence beat them, and the victims of Spence's victims. But then you also have the crash. It's a very weird grey territory.

I'm inclined to agree with all of that. Just wanted to add, that I am pretty happy with how good all of them are.

If there was a culture of the best just fighting the best, there would be no need to complain at all

    Bingo.

When you beat someone is the oft-forgotten criteria. We've been hit over the head so much with, 'Look at all these belts, baby!' and, 'It's history!' that we're not paying attention. Bud's weight jump was impressive, as was his performance (his skill will never be questioned), but boxing acted as if he'd beaten Canelo in 21/22. Post-Bivol, Saul has performed like a car in dire need of serious changes. One punch. Follow. Huff n' puff. Repeat.

Scrape past all the bling, the brand, 'The face of boxing' nonsense, and Inoue has beaten more prime or near-prime fighters. The Fulton win was an important milestone. The Nakatani win - a young, gusty sniper who had his moments - has to put Inoue clear.

No not enough big name fighters at those weights for him to face. Unless he moves up to 135 and starts beating guys there he has no shot. Guys who fight below 135 just dont get the same respect that's just the way it is. People who say he has dont have a clue and are wishful thinking thats it.

Imagine being so ignorant that you think Inoue has to move up from 108 to 135 to match a guy who has two good wins and they were both past their prime. Does Floyd's best weight not matter then? How about everything Morales, Marquez, Pacquiao and Barrera did below 135?

Bud's resume before Spence sucked. It was terrible. Who was his best win? The featherweight Gamboa (who obviously doesn't count coz he's below 135) or the one win wonder Postol? Or was it Porter, who lost all of his big fights?

"That's the way it is" yeah if you're an idiot

SYBAU you goofy dick sucking fool. Historically I will be proven right at the end of the day like i was about pbf over pac historically. Bud will rank higher than inoue. His dominating win over canelo the face of boxing an atg is better than anything Inoue did and he moved up 2 weights at 37 to do it 135 to 168. Inoue went life and death with an old donaire ffs. Donaire was seen as a guy who hung around too long back then. There's simply not as much talent at those midget weights and boxing publications dont hold those weightclasses in the same light as they do higher weights those are facts. There's no rigos or lomas down at those weights for inoue to fight the talent pool isn't deep as the higher weights.

Crawford was avoided and ducked by guys for years and when he got in the ring with the two best fighters he's fought he dominated both and he wasn't getting knocked down multiple times like inoue was to do it.
Crawford>inoue:deal: so is usyk for that matter.

You are without a doubt the biggest dick sucker on this forum. There's a special type of black fighter you'd suck off after he ****ed your wife. As for goofy? I suggest you 'stop!'

Dominating an old, slow Canelo who the blue print has been written on isn't the ATG win you think it is. The size difference between Crawford and Canelo is miniscule. And that's basically all Crawford has.

Inoue went life and death with an old Donaire in a fight he won easily, dropped Donaire, sustained a career ending injury and then annihilated him in the rematch. Crawford almost lost to ****in Madrimov you dunce.

There's more talent at 115 than there's been between 135 and 147 for years. Don't tell me about weights you obviously don't know **** about. Who gives a **** what light publications hold the divisions in? You're American and so read American publications. Do you seriously think in Japan, Philippines or Mexico they're ignoring fights below 135?

You said no Rigo or Lomas coz they're the only small fighters you know? Nakatani is elite, Fulton is elite, MJ is elite, Donaire was elite, Narvaez was elite. I can keep going but I've made my point.

Who avoided Crawford? Give me specific names coz we both know it's bull****. What relevance does Inoue going down make? He destroyed the guys who dropped him. Floyd having fights where **** all happens must've ruined your brain.

Youre a goofy alright no pussie getting nerd who dont be outside. Ill show you a picture of my girl and hurt your damn feelings lame.

Calling canelo who was the champ at his weight and who was ranked in the top 10 p4p slow and old is hilarious at 34 ignoring the fact that crawford was going up 2 weights and even older.. Especially when everyone here thought donaire was shot when he fought and gave inoue hell. Inoue was much younger and donaire was older than canelo was when he fought inoue. Crawford didnt struggle with a superior fighter like inoue did. Saying all crawford has is size crawford is more skilled than inoue dummy he's more complete.

Those fighters at those weights arent that good no they're not better than guys between 135 and 147 how many p4p fighters are at those weights?? There's no atg fighters down there like a prime loma or rigo and inoue didnt face a prime donaire who's an atg and who in his prime would've washed inoue.

The boxing media and publications dont respect lower weight classes like that it's the way ot is. Guys who are 5'5 122 pounds dont excite full grown men like me like that you midget.

I know and respect loma and rigo because they were truly elite atg fighters loma beats everyone you listed and so would rigo so would a prime donaire. Those guys were simply good fighters in weak divisions.

The whole pbc roster avoided crawford like the plague for as long as they could they froze him out at 147 for years where have you been?

Going down means alot it means had he fought a prime donaire rigo or loma he would've been stopped but none of those fighters he's beating are truly elite that's why it matters.

To a certain extent I agree, but Crawford chose to stay with too rank. My position is that both inoue and Crawford are victims of circumstance

    1. Usyk himself has been past his best ever since 2019, so that's an odd thing to ding him for.

    2. The best performance of AJ's entire career was his 2nd fight with Usyk and Fury's fights against Usyk were his 3rd and 4th best performances of his career. I don't think he was as past prime as many like to say, usually just because he literally got out of bed and looked like **** against Ngannou.

    3. Prime Dubois is dominant right now and barring his loss to Usyk has knocked out 3 consecutive top 10 fighters. Usyk knocked his ass out in 5.
