    Fury fought:

Undefeated Chisora in London as a 22-year old bookies underdog.
Undefeated in 11 years Wlad as a massive bookies underdog in away territory in Germany, notorious for bad decisions at the time.
Undefeated Wilder as a bookies underdog in Los Angeles having had just 2 fights in the 3 years prior after a long drug & alcohol binge.
Undefeated Wilder as a bookies underdog in Vegas.
This generations best heavyweight Usyk twice, once as a bookies underdog.

Your statement above is simply incorrect.

He shouldn't have been an underdog against Chisora and Wilder though. Wilders resume doesn't back up his reputation. Who did he beat?

I agree with that.. Furys an absolute whopper but he has faced WK, Usyk twice & Wilder X3.. if he fights Joshua he will have faced the top 4 HWs of the past 15 years. Joshuas well past it sure but Fury is getting there too.. & yes he fights crap tickovers but they are intermittently filled with top tier matchups.

He should because he was a mentally unwell 30 stone recently inactive cokehead not long before that first Wilder fight.. whereas Wilder was an active in shape title holder sparking every scrub they fed, so limted or not most expected Fury to get done, especially going off his recent performances.. as for Chisora they were both young & fairly unproven then so the odds favouring chisora are only ridiculous in hindsight

Wilder was considered a huge threat in his prime due to his power. That's why he was the favourite.

What a ridiculous metric to measure how tough a fighter's resume has been. Whether or not they were the bookie's favorite. I guess Muhammad Ali sucked because he was never an underdog in any of his fights except for maybe against Foreman. Nevermind that it's absurd on its face to use betting odds since a gambling establishment's only desire in creating odds for a fight is to get people to put money on both sides of a fight to lessen their potential liability.

And just look at your list, my guy. SIX fights over Fury's 20 some odd year career where he's fought 39 times! And you had to throw Delboy in there even though he's never been elite level and was tailor made for a giant like Fury. What a pathetic showing for a guy people were trying to claim was the greatest HW of all time. Six fuggin' fights. What a joke.

Just to compare him to a truly elite level fighter who fought the best competition at every turn, Usyk turned pro at 27, only has 25 pro fights on his record, and he:

    Beat undefeated Glowacki in Poland
Beat undefeated up-and-comer Michael Hunter in America
Beat the longest reigning CW champ Marco Huck in Germany
Beat undefeated absolute dawg Mairis Briedis in Latvia
Beat undefeated Gassiev in Moscow when the Russians had already annexed Crimea and were fighting Usyk's country
I never rated Tony "Just trying to get home to me wife and kids" Bellew that highly, so we'll skip him, but you could count brutally knocking him out in Manchester
Then AJ twice, once at Tottenham, Dubois twice, once at Wembley, and Fury twice.

So Usyk has had about half the fights Fury has and yet his resume has almost nothing but champions and top rated guys on it. All while fighting most of these top level opponents on their home turf! Not a Pianeta, Schwartz, Wallin, or Marius Wach to be found.

Fury conned people like you by running his mouth and then running away from almost all serious challenges.

Fury was coming a long lay off, he had been suffering from depression and was grossly overweight, it was only by fight time that everyone realized he had shed a ton of weight.

And because Fury was coming off a long lay off and was overweight and slow in his two comeback fights prior to his first fight vs Doentay.

Makhmudov was heavily hyped prior to fighting Kabayel but it's rightly not viewed as a big win these days due to Makhmudov being badly overrated. Wilder is a similar situation.

Fury probably deduced Wilders limitations and saw it as the easiest path to picking up a belt

Biggest British fight being held in America, it is just not right.

The fight being held in America, would help me watch it because of my work schedule.

I prefer it being in UK with the atmosphere. Nobody gives rats ass about Fury in North America.

The numbers will be atrocious, Joshua is more popular here.
