Dude, I used to watch his dad on Tuesday Night Fights back in the early 90s!

 

I do know the person who runs this Twitter is beyond delusional. Hunter has been done for years. The last time he resembled a top HW contender was against Povetkin nearly SEVEN years ago.

 

What became of his career (due to his own gaffs, Don King and other things) is really a damn shame. He was never going to be the man (Usyk exists), but for a time, Michael Hunter would've given every other HW not named Usyk severe migraines.

If he's fighting, yeah he should probably just sit down. He's absolutely missed his train

 

His last fight didn’t even show up on BoxRec from late last year

 

I see him at a local fitness gym once in awhile and it really does seem like he wants the big meaningful fights, at least that’s what he says… but I think he’s hard to deal with and he’s not that marketable, plus you don’t know what version of him showing up. It’s a shame.

 

Didn't he basically disappear after he dropped out of the Hrgović fight? What was his reason for that?

 

I don't remember anything about this but I do remember that his career went off the rails when the WBC accused him of missing anti-doping protocals.
