To the untrained eye hrgovic lost every round and was getting hammered.

But in reality he had him exactly where he wanted him.
Is hrgovic was a yank they would be calling this the greatest display of ring intelligence since alis rope a dope (which was basically Ali taking a beating until foreman gassed).

Every single round people gave him you can tell they were itching to give him the first round where he landed a punch or two. Horrible scoring.

 

Exactly, the narrative on the round by round sounded unhinged from a lot of itauma supporters.

 

Hrgovic won the only round that counted!!!! And KO’d the overly ambitious Itauma in the process.

 

There were one or two rounds you could give to Hrgovic, but speaking more broadly winning rounds only matters if you have the attributes and ability to actually see the final bell, and tonight Itauma with his given strategy, did not.

 

He didn't need to win a single round, he just needed to prevent Itauma getting out of that round.

 

think i gave hrgovic a couple rounds but even then if the game plan was to let moses gas himself out and rely on his chin to get him through the fight you can't hate too much considering it worked.

 

I gave him one round before the end of the fight. Still it was good tactically from him. At first I thought he was just afraid of Itauma's counters, but it seemed that it was the plan all along for him to be less active. Pretty dangerous plan but it worked out for him in the end
