He’ll be back because he’s an absolute beast and will conquer the division; he lost due to a lack of experience, but I can see him ruling the division...
I don’t know if he recovers in all honesty, he’s going to need some extreme mental power to overcome that type of loss, very different to just getting clipped, this kind of loss scars deep and the battle he will have within himself will be great. He may be too young to overcome this kind of loss.
Doesn't have the mindset required to be great. This kid was calling out Usyk, already acting like he owned the show, and he's not even committed to training enough that he can last a full fight. Dude was getting gassed from about the 4th or 5th round. He just doesn't strike me as a psycho about winning where he'll be out pounding the pavement at 3 AM to improve himself. Plus, it'll be an enormous hill to climb to overcome being this embarrassed. Lots of guys never recover mentally from something like that.
People say this about every kind of loss. Personally I would feel better about myself after a loss where I beat the **** out of the other guy and punched myself out. He has the goods, he just needs to condition and pace himself way better. How many of the top HWs were anywhere near this level at 21 years old? I hope Moses grows from this, puts in the work, gets a better haircut and comes back stronger.
He still only 21 , this either will be the making of him or scar him for life ... It's on him now how he handles this moment .. I still believe he can be a force in the HW but he needs to change a few things , starting with improving his stamina..
Nahhh it wasn’t all the gas tank’s fault he lost!! Don’t even try it. Lol Hrgovic started landing some SHARP ass right hands on him That had a lot to do with itauma staggering around the ring as well. Congrats Filip!!
Let down by trainers obsessed with power and ignoring stamina. Also lack of grounding, caught up in his own hype train and thinking himself undefeatable. Hopefully the scars will heal.
This type of loss adds self doubt, Can I actually go past 8/9 rounds? You get clipped, easy, I got clipped it happens especially in this division. When you get to this point in a fight again and the going gets tough, that’s when you’ll find out if he can overcome it, many fighters can’t. He can come back for sure, the talent he has is clearly incredible but the real damage won’t be known until he’s in round 6/7/8/9 against someone that won’t go away. This type of loss can also change his fight style too now.
The young bull ran down the paddock and had one of those cows, while the old bull strolled down and serviced the lot.
If he struggled and ended up like that against Hrgovic then Dubois and Kabayel would also be serious question marks as they share similar traits. The question is who do you put him in with to adapt and overcome such problems? I get that he will need a confidence builder or two unless they're stupid and throw him in the deep end again. Chisora would be a useful run out but he still hits pretty hard and is game despite being an old war horse, Del Boy isn't going to give a **** about taking his head off if it lands him a title shot lol. Parker looks like he's declining but he is a crafty vet and as durable as anyone. Miller can drown you but he doesn't really do that much damage. There's high quality opponents out there for him to have a trial run against before looking to the current title holders.
