hrgovic's entrance song was GENI KAMENI by marko perkovic thompson.. meaning the genes of rocks.. just like usyk said before a few of his fights.. ''i am feel, i am very very feel'' hrgovic, before the itauma fight ''you need a great chin'' there should be t shirts made with these quotes
lasted a long damn time with Wach and Chisora. Believe Wachs has cracked now but he’s near 50 and shouldn’t be fighting
If you watch it back it looked more like he was off balance, wasn't really hurt. I'm not sure I'd rank his power over Dubois because of that.
I was going to say this. Hrgovic also punches downward with his right hand at an awkward angle like Vitali did as well almost like he is throwing a baseball.
Wardley, at least before Dubois, wouldn’t have gone down either and he makes round 9. I reckon there’s a good chance Wardley would have beat him
He has one of the greatest chins at HW of all time One of the very few SHWs/HWs who was never dropped or stopped in the amateurs/WSB and he fought most of the top guys and loads of big punchers Never dropped in sparring despite sharing a ring with Wlad, Haye, The Dosser, Dubois, Fabio among many others Took a ridiculous amount of flush bombs and big shots against a way heavier murderous punching Big Bang and many in quick succession at times Took loads of huge flush bombs against the huge punching Dubois Just did the same tonight vs Moses I think the KD he suffered against Big Bang was bogus and I'm not sure the one he suffered tonight wasn't either and obviously he gets hit a lot And let's not forget this vs the huge punching Adeleye. His chin is insane This content is protected
If a KD on Hrgovic isn't a good enough indication of his power, then what is? I feel like people are being a bit too unrealistic here.
Hrgovic said in the post fight presser the punch didn't hurt him it was that he just didn't see it coming and it got him off balance. Said Adeleye hit harder than Moses. The kid is ultra fast, but he's not some heavy handed freak like Foreman or Shavers.
I mean if a guy gets knocked down for a split second by being off balance. it doesn't mean he got hurt by big power. To be clear though, I'm not saying Itauma doesn't have power. Just that I believe Hrgovic when he says he didn't feel a lot of power. I think knockdowns / knockouts achieved by way of speed is different to true raw sledgehammer type power like you see with a Foreman or Zhang.
