Itauma - what now? All that hype for what?

Froch says Itauma has what it takes to be a title holder, as Haye did.

 

That's not true. Ike could do it. Itauma just wasn't in great shape. He has a soft look.

Moses defence is v good imo, he was knackered and still avoiding Hrgovic's punches for the most part until the very end. If he needs to work on anything it's pacing

 

Fury didn't need muscles now did he?

 

Itauma either needs to punch harder, punch more selectively or learn to pace himself for decision victories. He sold out and was caught in a no man's land where he couldn't finish his opponent. And his opponent finished him. No one is Superman.

 

Nope, he only needed the best cherry picking ever.

 

Fury averaged like ten landed punches per round in his prime.

 

The big difference is David Haye and Carl Thompson were embracing eachother and giving interviews immediately after the fight. In Itauma's case yesterday he had to be carried like a baby in a diaper onto a stretcher out of the arena whilst being unconscious.

 

Yeah but he knew how to manage a fight and still does

And did you see the part where Hrgovic got battered, dominated, pieced up for 8 rounds straight??? Where is the criticism for the top heavyweight opponent with 10 times the boxing experience?
