Why lie? Is it because Sanchez destroys your narrative that Hrgovic had a great gameplan?

Sanchez literally states during the video he took much more punishment early than they wanted/expected.

IIRC he even says it was the 6th round when he noticed Itauma starting to fade badly, again, nothing to do with taking punches or "Pressure"...What "Pressure" would that be exactly, when Itauma was controlling the whole fight?

I've never ever heard somebody lose every minute of every round and somebody watching claim they're "Pressuring" the fight, that's the worst take I've ever heard. Besides survive, Hrgovic did nothing and showed has limited of a fighter he is and why Dubois would be a terrible terrible idea for him and an easy nights work for DDD.

Yep here also David Haye said Moses did everything great, he has a solid chin and did everything else 10/10

Well that's obvious.

 

The idea that no punches landed is not based in reality. Also, how many rounds Moses ‘won’ is irrelevant as he was stopped and his corner threw in the towel. It wasn’t a 6, 8, or 10 round fight. It was a 12 round title fight and I only wish we got to see the complete natural conclusion instead of a towel being thrown in because it’s giving ammo to the ridiculous narrative of “look how many rounds Moses won!” He was on his way to getting brutally KOed.

 

Funny enough Moses fight reminded me of Haye’s fight with Thompson. Haye’s career turned out well for him after that fight, hope it dose for Moses also.

 

That's a ridiculous take. By the same logic,
Hrgovic was on his way to getting KOd from round 1 with the amount of flush punches he took.

It was a dominate performance by moses, who didn't just win or edge rounds.... he DOMINATED the rounds via one way traffic. And made a season TOP heavyweight look like a taxi driver.

Taking into consideration that Hrgovic has 10x the experience, and this was Itauma's first time past 6 rounds as a 21 year old NOVICE.

 

Moses could really do with a visit from Haye and some mentorship maybe even coaching. Haye could do a lot for Moses at this stage.

 

If he got that gassed by round six in a mediocrely paced fight, there is no hope for him. In other words, there is no hope for him against guys who will fight back and have a chin or defense.

 

Yeah, teach him how to be a heartless quitter from an old hand.

 

Haye was spot on. I do think theres a massive chance Moses will rebuild to become a star. But he has a slightly harder road back than Haye did after Thompson. As much as pacing/inexperience was a problem last night....his bigger problem appears to be he cant seem to fight well on the back foot. Haye was similar but Haye hit harder than Moses does.

It was enough to make the opponent hesitant to cross the line and allowed Haye to catch his breathers.

I m not sure Moses has that same power...which will make it much harder to catch his much needed breathers.

Still say Adam Booth would be a better coach for him.

It's very weird how people seem to ignore the fact that when someone gets definitively stopped - what happened before in the fight literally doesn't matter. The result is a KO win for one guy and a loss for the other. It's part of what makes combat sports unique and thrilling... and this has also certainly been used strategically and has been forever.. With that said, Hrg did admit that he had more trouble hitting Itauma than he expected.

But yah, when someone gets stopped, they aren't due a rematch because they did good earlier in the fight... This is a very weird proposition and I assume it's only being said because people are having a hard time accepting the insane hype of Moses just got popped.
