Have to agree with your pick here. Feels like one of the more easy upsets to see coming honestly. Inactive aging Ruiz against a big, fast, solid, long and rangy outboxer. Even if he manages a win I think he's in for a very long night.
Ruiz would have to be thoroughly shot and spend his entire camp at an all-you-can-eat to lose to a guy who is firmly domestic level. But this is Ruiz, so that's entirely possible.
saw this is a 12 rounder? I think even if Ruiz struggles with the distance Knyba creates with his long arms, Ruiz is a certifed 12 round fighter that can go the distance and in the later rounds Knyba’s game plan will unravel.

All serious fights are 12 rounders unless someone goes out of there way to make it not so. Ruiz went further and had 2 8 round NABF fights. But those were fights Ruiz probably didn't expect to be close. 10 rounds between serious fighters is asking for a controversial outcome.
It’s a come back fight with a unproven fighter. A 10 rounder wouldn’t be out of the question. I’ve seen fighters ranked higher than these two currently are do 10 rounders I believe this is Knyba‘s 12 rounder minus the kabyel fight that went 3.
If Knyba uses his reach and adopts a herky jerky approach(Peter Fury style) he can really frustrate Ruiz. This can be compounded if Ruiz puts in one of his occasional lethargic showings.
