He's climbed Mount Everest. He's 35 or 37 whatever. Immortal in Croatia forever. Does he put on a bunch of weight and party now? I hope he doesn't do a Buster Douglas in his next fight and come in grossly overweight and out of shape.
34. I think he continues to train hard and gets bigger fights than Itauma. He has a real chance of beating the other belt holders. Kabayel is about the same age and has a size disadvantage. DuBois is about to be 29, but he has been in some wars and probably has another one coming up with Wardley 2. Gassiev is a former CW that turns 33 in a little over a month. IMO we are possibly looking at the next unified HW champ.
Andy Ruiz was content with beating Joshua. He's barely fought since the 2nd fight. I hope he doesn't do what he did. On the flip side of that coin he's been in the sport a while. He may not go on much further. I hope he gets at least one major pay day though.
Ya he definitely looks older than 29 to me. In fighting years he definitely is older than 29. It's gonna catch up with him soon.
He can beat Gassiev and Dubios to be a unified champ. Has a reasonable chance against Kabayel too (though I think Kabayel would find a way to break him down). So I hope not. Some good fights to be made here.
My worry is more about his chin He's not like a Vitali Klitschko where it's a combo of good chin and good defence, he is ALL chin. Eventually something has to give.
I didnt really realize how limited his competition is right now. Maybe he has a better chance at keeping his momentum then I previously thought.
Division is WIDE open. Who knows can even beat Sanchez in his next fight? All I know is should be exiting time for division, which may lack a true great but should be able to continue to put together some good fights. Dubios, Hrgovic, Gassiev, Kabayel, Sanchez, Parker, Itauma on the comeback. Lot of different matches can be made.
