    Let's derive it.

Frank Warren says that Agit will fight a "top ten" guy. So let's figure it out through process of elimination:

Current Ring Magazine top ten, plus champ:
    Usyk
    Dubois
    Kabayel
    Fury
    Hrgovic
    Wardley
    Sanchez
    Ajagba,
    Itauma
    Gassiev
    Huni

    WBC top ten...
    Fury
    Okolie
    Itauma
    Hrogic
    Joshua
    Sanchez
    Wardley
    Wilder
    Verhouvan
    Ajagba

Combine all names on the list and you get...

    Usyk
    Dubois
    Kabayel
    Fury
    Hrgovic
    Wardley
    Sanchez
    Ajagba,
    Itauma
    Gassiev
    Huni
    Wardley
    Wilder
    Verhouvan
    Ajagba
    Okolie
    Joshua

    We can definitely eliminate:
Usyk- vacated the title because he don't like the fight
Dubois- WBO champ, going to fight Wardley
    Kabayel- can fight himself
    Fury
    Hrgovic- IBF champ, just fought
    Wardley- going to fight Dubois
Sanchez- in line to fight Hrgovic, and already lost to Agit
    Ajagba
    Itauma- Just lost
Gassiev- WBA champ, no mention of unification and negotiating with Miller
    Huni
    Wardley- going to fight Dubois
    Wilder
    Verhouvan
    Okolie
    Joshua- negotiating with Fury

    That leaves us with:

    Fury
    Ajagba
    Huni
    Wilder
    Verhouvan
    Okolie

    We can probably eliminate...
Fury- mentioned Kabayel's name as alternative, but is still probably negotiating Joshua
    Ajagba
    Huni
    Wilder- Negotiating with Usyk
Verhouvan- rumors are he priced himself out, and talking of fighting another kickboxer
Okolie- Seems to be on PEDS bust

    That leaves is with:

    Ajagba
    Huni

Of these two, I would say....

Ajagba- Zuffa fighter and thus not available,
    Huni

And so, in my opinion, barring a black swan, Kabayel will be defending against...

    JUSTIS HUNI

    I could also see...
Parker being brought in as a "top ten" of somebody's list,
Miller getting the fight because his manager was lobbying for it, and he is "top ten" in WBA,
Fury announcing he is giving up on Joshua
    Verhouvan came to terms
They threw a ton of money at Gassiev for a uni
    Okolie beat his PEDs bust

But my prediction will be Justis Huni.

Huni is a good fighter, just poorly promoted and he seems a tad lazy, never in shape but if he did come in on a full camp and prepared and it went 12 rounds good chance he'd win on points.

He fought Wardley on like 4 or 5 weeks notice and won every second of the first 9 rounds.

He's one of the softest options whilst vaguely plausible as a defence... So it would make sense, especially given Kabayel's preference for soft touches.

It'd be nice to see him take a bit more of a difficult path now, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I would bet that it will be Chisora. And that the “top 10 guy” was not literal. There will be some spin about how beating a long time champ like Wilder, and how he’s a big draw etc etc makes him top 10.
And we will all be disappointed but not surprised.
Just my instincts telling me that though!

I wouldn’t be that surprised if it were Efe Ajagba tbh, even though he is a Zuffa fighter

They'd be silly if they didn't make Hrgovic v Kabayel imo.

He has another loss to Evgeny Orlov from the same tournament he did which was called the "Bigger's Better" tournament. He used to have two losses recorded on his record but they've been retroactively scrubbed, probably using the excuse that they were only 3 round fights which only counted as exhibitions.

Edit: I looked it up and they scrubbed the losses simply because Boxrec apparently don't officially recognise the tournament. As far as we should be concerned though, he has two professional losses.

i mean i think kabayel would win by breaking him down but huni is one of the guys who could actually outbox him and win a ud if he can survive 12 rounds and show up in shape.

Hrgovic just went through a war, so I don't think he'll fight again in 2026.
