1000 threads and why Itauma lost it not how Hrgovic won it. Give the better fighter and better man credit where's its due. He deserved it. That's why he's a champion, the champion and Itauma isn't.

"Itauma is amazing. He is amazing. I was losing all the rounds, he is so fast. He is amazing.

You don't see the punches coming. My only chance was to stay there and make him tired and to MAYBE stop him in later rounds." - Filip Hrgovic

"I was losing every round, I was outboxed, he is amazing, most talented guy in the division... I am the present but Moses is definitely
    the future." - Filip Hrgovic

"Moses is the best I shared the ring with, I got lucky tonight" - Filip Hrgovic

I give credit to Hrgovic's chin. I am happy for him as he is deserving of being a world champion given his route to the title. Did it the hard way.

But Moses dominated 90% of fight, it was not
    competitive.

Moses gassed out. Moses knocked himself out.

    Congratulations Hrgovic.

Quite sad that people come in this thread to still take credit away from him.

Itauma should actually have an official win on his record. Lets start a petition, we can tell them that Hrgovic said all of this, and that David Haye said “he did everything right.”!

They may disagree with us, but when we have this kind of backing from accomplished fighters, I bet they will have no choice but to change their minds.

Moses won, and its crazy to think anything negative about him or that he isn’t THE uncrowned king JUST BECAUSE the fight ended with him getting KO’d..

I mean, he didn’t really get KO’d either, he was JUST TIRED! They should have given him a timeout.

Amir Khan really beat Canelo too!

Even if it was just due to being gassed, fitness counts too in boxing. But it wasn't.

    Hail King Hrgovic.

Basically, yep - he didn't need to be powerful or even massively skillful, he just needed a great chin and a less crap than Itauma.

And he's beaten a prospect who's never fought a live gatekeeper before - it's not nothing, but it doesn't elevate him nearly as much as some want to.

You realize all of that makes Moses look even worse? He left more questions than he answered. Guy was stretchered out of the ring against a so called average opponent who supposedly landed no punches
Championship fights aren’t 6, 8, or even 10 rounds. They are 12. Not being able to go past 8 rounds is a huge red flag and so is his putrid stamina and Chin. If there is a rematch and I hope there is Moses is getting knocked out. Wait and see.

Not at all, Itauma is a kid at 21. A great many have paced themselves incorrectly before moses, many more will make the same mistake Moses did going forward.
Not just in boxing, but in many combat sports. Like UFC for example.

Moses is 21 years old, and fought a highly seasoned, experienced, Olympian.

Please contact Serge for a full education on Hrgovic accolades.

Please avoid posters like Cyrion who label Hrgovic as "bang average.

Buddy, I have been on this forum far too long to believe in giving anyone any sort of credit. All wins do is prove that fighters are at best worse or the same as they were believed to be before.

i agree with what serge has said about hrgovic in the past, i've been a fan of hrgovic's since 2015, and have followed his career ever since..
he certainly upset the narrative with this fight, and i love it..
the boxing world has gone ito meltdown..
i thank frank warren for everything..
    for signing hrgovic
for paying sanchez step aside money, making the fight a title fight
hrgovic finally got his title shot, and was expected to get smashed..
queensberry made the fight fot itauma to win, and hrgovic to lose..
hrgovic displayed great character since the fight was made, and during the fight
i just love how he's been overlooked, and the impact his defeat of itauma has had in the boxing world
