Crawford by KO at 147, 154, 160 or 168. Ennis is a chinny delusional hypejob.

I agree. Padded record. Crawford chops him to pieces.

Bud is obviously a couple of levels above Boots but I will say this. Crawford will be 39 later this month and 2026 has been a very bad year for aging fighters.

Crawford may come out of retirement just to shut Ennis up. They were going at it.

Honestly..... it's hard to say Crawford has struggled against lesser fights and Boota would definitely be the best fighter Crawford ever faced ( Canelo and Spence don't count since they were clearly past their best).

Prime for prime at welter I think Crawford wins. Competitive for most of the fight but boots would be unable to overwhelm Crawford with his athleticism and wouldn't be able to cleanly outbox him. Eventually Bud gets his timing down and counters Boots to death, stopping him late.
Currently though, Crawford is old, retired and last fought at 168. Trying to cut the weight at his age to fight at 154 or even 160 could end disastrously and it's probably for the best he stays retired.

Even at 147 it's a tossup. We saw Crawford struggle against lesser fighters in Porter, Jose, and Mean Machine. Spence wasn't at his best and I would argue that the version of Stanionis that Boots destroyed is better than any fighter Crawford fought at 147 tbh. Hell, even Zander would be the best fighter Crawford fought if we're being honest

I don't think Crawford or anyone cares about losing when at least 30 million is at stake.
