Definitely in the Hall of Fame Katie has to be favourite but i dont know much about her opponent and she is most certainly in decline.Really hope she gets the win and the send off that her career deserves
Indeed, she is favourite to win with the bookies. What an incredible send off at Croke Park it will be if she comes through and wins. 80,000+ people in attendance I suspect.
I heard Pili has been brought in to lose. Despite being of Irish parentage I’ll be needing someone to translate Katie’s victory speech.
I don’t know anything about her tbh. I think it was Barry McGuigan who said she’s been brought in to lose and that Katie deserves this soft touch as a last fight. Also it could be said that in women’s boxing that record is achievable without being very good.
Which is fair enough. Katie is 40 years old. She deserves someone a touch easier, unless we are underestimating her.
