If AJ doesn't fight Fury next, I think Eddie will match him with Knyba. He probably owes the rights for Knyba's next fight also and probably will see Damian as pretty safe opponent for AJ since he is very basic (like Wallin, though he clearly hits harder than Otto). Also, Knyba's height and reach are close to Fury's, so it makes a sense to make AJ vs Knyba fight in order to prepare AJ for facing taller outfighter with a longer reach
Hearn can posture and say he’s matching Joshua with this fighter our that fighter, truth of the matter is I highly doubt at this stage he risks Joshua against anybody but Fury .
There is no way Hearn will put Joshua in the ring against a bigger and fresher fighter who has the power to stop Joshua.
Maybe he ought to just think about retiring. The fight appears to be in semi-limbo again, and why risk his health for a fight that no longer matters? If you think about it, Fury beat Wilder on 2/22/2020, making a fight with Joshua the one that would have settled who the the best of the era. Joshua lost to Usyk on 9/25/21. This is a fight to determine who was the better man for 17 months between 2020-2021.
Strong chance they both do if this fight doesn't come off I don't believe for a moment any of them care about anything else
It's like Mayweather-Pacquiao.. it should have already happened, when it was red hot. But no, they have to jack around and drag it along by the leg.
I actually hope they just scrap the idea at this point. By the way, I don;t want to see Lewis-Bowe either.
How come the fans can't boycott this nonsense? Didn't we do it before, for a Roy Jones fight? Playing the fans/customers for suckers, trying to squeeze out a PPV for a fight that's past it's sell by date. But the fans of Fury and Joshua kind of steam it along.
If Joshua and Fury don't fight this time they never will and Joshua fighting some similar in his place will be a waste of time.
