Who should Moses fight should he return?

Yea, it's a big IF.

It might be that he's just a faster Zhang - heavy hands, pretty durable, but horrible if it goes to later rounds and/or cards?
That's not nothing, it's just not the dominant champ a lot of people expected.

 

I agree...but I don't think Parker, at this stage, is a step up from Hrgo.

 

That's actually really quite interesting to me as Haye was lambasted for his really low output and poor effort against Wlad; but I can see that sniper adaptation being much of the cause (outside of ToeGate!!) - he couldn't see the shot etc etc. But as BubblesUK noted, this style probably nullified a LOT of his best attributes, and given Wlad's losses and their manner, ironically Haye's best shot against Wlad would likely to have been to fight just as he did against Thomson and Itauma did against Hrgo! Put it on Wlad early and often and make himn doubt his chin with Sanders flashbacks! Styles Make Fights!

 

If he tries to be Power Parker, and fight against his strengths... I'd agree.

As a points fighter across 12, he's a significant step up.

 

Maybe not for his first comeback fight maybe in a year or 2. But I do think Parker would be a good opponent for Itauma.

Parker has historically normally done quite poorly vs British Heavyweights.

Lost to Joshua, Whyte, Wardley, Joyce.

Gift decision vs Chisora in their 1st meeting.

Razor thin close decision vs H.Fury.

 

I think points Joe also loses. He wouldn't continually apply the educated pressure Hrgo did and Moses wouldn't have to work so hard. Interesting though!!

 

Parker has considerably better stamina... Nah, on points I'd take Parker over Hrgovic 9/10 fights... Stamina through later rounds Parker is better, technically Hrgovic is decent but he's not all that special all round.

Itauma suited Hrgovic perfectly, since his chin held up.

 

it could be that they inadvertently picked the worst possible opponent for Ituama.

Hrgovic’s strategy was perfect… for Hrgovic. Who else has the durability to pull that off? He ended up having to tank a lot of punishment to finally get Ituama to the full gas out state.
