Tim wanted to fight next year but Fenech wanted it this year. I would have respected Tim's wishes. He's the one fighting.

 

Tim had the Texas BBQ for the entree. Now it's time for Ropa Vieja for the main course.

 

Lara is a level above, even now. He could get robbed on the cards, potentially, if it is in Aus. No idea why he's still fighting at 43.

 

Tim sends another into retirement without too much fuss.

And he is getting paid handsomely for it. Dude takes home at least 350k a year, if he is still getting paid 750k per fight. Heck, even if he took home 100k a year it would be worth sticking around, because he is rarely in any physically though fights.

 

Lara could win, but he could also be winning until he isn’t.

The chin significantly deteriorates once you get into your 40s.

Lara does have a solid defence and fundamentals, but even a few clean punches from someone like Tszyu could spell disaster.

This is hard to pick.

He's 43 though, he should have already made his money and gotten out of Dodge. I don't think fighters should be allowed to carry on after 40 unless they're fighting dudes who are over 40 themselves. It's all fun and games until it ain't.

 

Tszyu keeps getting title shots he's fought bums and a guy who retired for 3 years. After the way he's treated his brother Nikita he deserves to get flat lined. **** him. Even if he beats Lara his time at the top is limited.
