Hrgovic is a more talented fighter than Itauma

Why wasn't David Price more talented than Tony Thompson? He had better handspeed and power after all.

Terrible Take, looks like you are the one doing mental gymnastics to take away from Itauma's huge talent and abilities at such a young age.

He made Filip look like a taxi driver for many rounds, and Filip himself said he got lucky and just tried to survive and outlast Itauma.

    You are coping hard.

I am merely parroting the opinions of boxing experts. They've all given him massive praise including the man in question FILIP Hrgovic.

Filip said "I got outboxed and outclassed"

Filip has never been one to be humble or gracious post or pre fight. He was being sincere.

    Nobody beat up Itauma.

Itauma was doing all the beating. Itauma was dishing out the violence.

Itauma was dominating. Itauma was overwhelming Filip to the point that Filip got gunshy for the first time ever.

Maybe you watched the wrong fight??

The fight I watched alongside boxing experts like David Haye and Abel Sanchez said Itauma collapsed out of exhaustion.

Somehow your google translator had a fit and got that translated as collapsed from a punch.

Hrgovic has an A* chin yes but he has several other attributes over Itauma beyond experience and would have likely beaten him if both were 21. Itauma, like Price and Haye, is flawed in crucial respects. Handspeed is not enough. If you don't have brain, chin, heart and engine, your ability is severely capped.

As for "no success in 8 rounds", Hrgo had plenty of success in rounds 3, 5, 6 and 8. He was wearing Itauma down, who was only able to keep Hrgo off him to the degree he was because he was working unsustainably hard.

Hrgo has been extremely underrated and at times has been overconfident. If not for a robbery he would have been an Olympic finalist, very good chance of gold. He was ducked by every contender for years. He lost to Dubois as the B-side yes, but he beat undefeated Zhang, 1/7 favourite Itauma in London, and Joyce on short notice. He is a quality operator.

Not everyone is a Wlad, Moses may well be the next Jared Anderson. Wlad also got by with a wrestling style and small, often light punching opponents. He was not fighting guys like Hrgovic, Zhang, Dubois etc. until he faced Fury and AJ.

    "Nobody beat up Itauma."

I'm pretty sure a guy called Filip Hrgovic did.

Fake quotes and cope won't change the fact that big Phil sent your boy out on a stretcher.

You are delusional if you think Itauma's team want anything to do with a rematch. He'd just get David Price'd again.

Put it to a poll then, fool. "Did Filip Hrgovic beat up Moses Itauma?"

Hrgovic has already said "You can't be great without a chin". Ergo, Itauma can't be great.

"I WAS LOSING EVERY ROUND, I WAS OUTBOXED, and I don't know where I got the energy"

    - Filip Hrgovic 2026, Planet Earth. A fair planetary distance away from where Redbeard resides.

Most pro boxers thought David Price had more talent than Tony Thompson, they were wrong.

Some say Wlad had more talent than Vitali. Quicker hands, better co-ordination, much more power. But Vitali had natural talents Wlad didn't, and maybe would have lost most rounds before wearing Wlad down late.

Did Filip say Moses had a bad chin?

    Nope.

Did Abel Sanchez, his trainer, say Itauma lost via punch?

    Nope.

Did David Haye say Itauma has a SOLID CHIN.

    Yes.

Are you an expert like them?

    Nope.

Do you have a boxrec profile?

    Nope.

Regardless, pro boxers know better than you.

You are a nobody in the world of boxing but just because you watch boxing on your mobile phone, you think you are an expert.

Maybe pipe down, and let Abel Sanchez educate you.

Hrgo is indirectly praising himself, it is not modesty. "I was too durable, too fit, too mentally tough, and too smart for this quick guy, and I destroyed him" is the subtext, not "I got lucky".
