Vitali in particular because let's be honest Hrgovic is basically a proto Vitali.

Those two were special and I dearly miss them, Heavyweight has been a disorganized rabble since they retired, with the single bright light of Oleksandyr.

    But Hrgovic isn't dominating.

And even if Vitali could beat everyone today, he got injured way too often. What makes you think his body would hold up now when it couldn't hold up then?

Klitschko used to climb mountains in Russia and wrestle bears. Those days are gone. With today's sports science he'd elevate his game by taking ice baths preserving his body and enhancing recovery.

hey its possible. Its true that athletes today are more careful regarding injury management, giving themselves proper time off, making sure they don't aggravate their injuries.

Still, there are some athletes that are extremely injury prone even if they are doing everything else right. I suspect Vitali might be one of those types.

Not at all. Lennox had one of the best uppercuts of all time. Hrgo doesn't.

Lennox had a devestating straight right. Hrgo has above average power but not Lewis like crushing power.

Hrgo does have a better chin than Lewis though.

Klitschko caught fish with his bare hands too. Those Eastern Europeans are a different breed.

Hrgovic's loss to Dubois had parallels with Vitali's loss to Lewis. Fortunately he has not quit so far, so no Vitali-Byrd comparisons.

    Yep.

Lennox had serious power, but could be stopped.

Hrgovic has a serious chin, but not much power.

    Lewis is arguably the GOAT.
Hrgovic isn't even the top dog in the ass end of a mediocre era.

And the differences don't stop there.

Vitali couldn't dominate his own era. Too fragile, so nah. Wlad? Maybe. I would not put my money on him against Dubois, but he probably beats everybody else.

I heard he didn’t even use his hand. He uses a canoe, flips canoe it over and catches them with his teeth as fish swims by.
