Excellent wrap Mr Rumsfield. I'd sign a petition to have you chief editor of Ring Magazine.

Your analyses are always very interesting and intelligent. I’ve recommended your channel to several casual fans so they can deepen their knowledge of boxers past and present.

It's the pink elephant in the room from Usyk vacating the alphabet trinkets - he can't vacate the Ring title or the lineal crown, so he's still technically 'the man' even though he's marching to the beat of his own drum right now.

But still nothing confirmed! Whilst highly unlikely I'd love for Kabayel v Usyk in Germany to be pulled out of the hat for November, but just wishful thinking...

Usyk is the strong, silent type.

Fury is the sad clown. Laughing on the outside crying on the inside.

We should all officially agree to name this the "Wild West" era. Just like we had the "Three Kings," this can be the "Wild West!"

Exactly, he's made clear by vacating that he's well aware he's shuffling towards retirement... But he's still the man.

The post-Klitschko era, defined primarily by AJ and then Usyk (with Wilder a sideshow and Fury a bit-part player) is dying a slow death, and the next era is painfully overdue but showing no signs of it's waters breaking.

It's a dire state for the division to be in, really...

In some ways, it'd be best for things to get moving if losses prompted the major players to get fighting each other with regularity, but as most already have (bar Kabayel, who's not the most ambitious in matchmaking) that should already be happening.
