Itauma vs Wilder from the mid-2010s, how does it go?

Favour Itauma to get him of there, but Wilder has a real punchers chance to switch Itauma’s lights out at any point, especially if he doesn’t get Wilder out of there, it would almost be certain based on Itauma’s stamina.

Wilder (Ortiz 2 or Fury 1) would knock out Itauma... even if it’s in the 12th round.

    Wilder brutal KO.

Today, Wilder has nothing to hold him off with and likely gets sparked himself.

Until we see more from Moses (which is to be expected at 21), I wouldn't favor him against anyone who's held an actual belt.

Wilder by KO but he has a rough time until Moses is suddenly separated from his senses.

Wilder KO ( out of the blue and devastating), whilst behind on the cards probably.

I will make the tentative prediction that Itauma has a higher potential ceiling than Wilder. and leave it at that.

Once upon a time Deontay Wilder had an iron chin and a punch that rated up with the hardest hitters of all time. I’d favor wilder

Wilder was terrible. He would have been getting embarrassed but he did have power that went late. And a solid chin. Not sure on this one.

Wilder would light him up. Itauma doesn’t want that kind of adversity.

What aspect of Wilders resume backs up this assessment?

    Especially the chin bit.

If you saw some of the stingers he was taking from Luis Ortiz and Bermane Stiverne you wouldn’t be questioning it. And are you ALSO questioning that he wasn’t an elite puncher ?

Not sure. The talent gap is enormous and Itauma likely hits harder than Fury but he'd have to get Wilder out of there by the 5th or he's done for

I don't rate either as big punchers on par with Itauma. The fact that you are trying to cite them as evidence of Wilders chin is awfully strange.
This is the same Stiverne who lost to Demetrice King and whose best win is Arreola.
He did fight a big puncher in Zhang and was promptly knocked out.

I'm also shocked that anyone thinks Wilder would fight him during his prime when he avoided dangerous opponents. I can't see his team ever making this fight to be honest.
