Who are the 5 best heavyweights over last 20 years?

As a new era of heavyweights appear to be dawning I was wondering over the last 20 years which group would people choose as the 5 best. If one of your 5 is not listed please specify in the comments.

Wlad Klitschko: 25-4 in 29 title fights
Vitali Klitschko: 15-2 in 17 title fights
Deontay Wilder: 10-2-1 in 13 heavyweight title fights (could easily be 12-1 without long counts in first and third Fury fights)
Oleksandr Usyk: 7-0 in seven heavyweight title fights
Anthony Joshua: 9-4 in 13 heavyweight title fights

Runner Up: Tyson Fury: 5-2-1 in eight heavyweight title fights. (Could easily be 4-4, see above)

Probably move Fury up if he beats Joshua next, even though it's a non-title fight. It would be almost impossible to keep him out at that point. (Joshua seems to be hurting his legacy these days.) If Joshua wins, he's set.

If Wilder beats Usyk next to go to 11-2-1, and Usyk falls to 7-1, I think everyone will come here to change votes to Wilder.

Wilder was the only constant in the division for five years (2015-2020), while the other three belts changed hands no less than eight times between 2015 and 2019.

17 heavyweight title fights are 17 heavyweight title fights.

At the rate some of these guys fight today, it would take another champ 17 years to fight 17 title fights.

"Long count" already happened in the Dempsey vs. Tunney fight, but life goes on.

 

The Klitschkos only beat guys who were smaller than them and Usyk only beat guys who only beat guys who were smaller than themselves. That is no way to prove you are best. I think the best are Severinsen, Carson, McMahon, Brickman and Bradford.

 

I don't actually know if they will.

And Fury won the 3rd fight fair and square a long count had nothing to do with it what so ever. I am actually in the minority who is fine with a draw in the first fight though.

 

Your question is akin to asking who was best out of AJ, Wilder and Povetkin, such is the scale on the consensus of the top 4.

Thus far, AJ is the resounding answer this forum has given to that question.

 

Most on here people have Fury over AJ and have done mostly I reckon but there has been quite a bit of debate. Never felt a shut out.
