Eddie will be unbearable if this happens.

Wonder if any of the Social Media "journos" will ask why they previously signed for the fight in Saudi.

I really do hope the fight never happens, ot is slop compared to what it could have been and I am so bored of it.

I'm kind of with you - of course I'll watch it when the time comes but the whole pantomime will be unbearable. Even more so if AJ wins.

Maybe it's me but I think if the TV money is funding this, it should be in a small arena. TV will want the large-stadium spectacle but in all honesty you'd get a far better night at the O2 or one of the Manchester venues. Proper bear-pit noise.

The other thing about stadiums is you get 20-minute ring walks...

They seemed to want MSG which is about the size of the O2, why not? Even better, York Hall!

I'm sure the time difference in Cardiff, compared to London, will smooth over Netlfix too

I can’t help but think that the powers that be want an alphabet belt attached to this fight to rinse it for every possible penny.. can see Fury being lined up for the WBA and a bout with Gassiev. Anything else is far too risky at this point.. so maybe they will just go with Cardiff before either loses.

I'll be there wherever it is , for work rather than pleasure but to be totally honest its not a fight that I would go to otherwise, a few years ago maybe.

I had heard whispers that the Saudi's are becoming more open to taking a back seat and letting someone else fund and put the fight on , allegedly.

Yeah the "real value" of the fight, Gate, PPV & Sponsors will be nowhere near what the Saudis have offered. I wouldn't blame them one bit

I’m pretty sure the fighters won’t do it for the real value of the fight. This was always going to be the problem with Turki overpaying.

    Hi Buddy.
Excellent choice of words " pantomime " because that's what it is, or will be, we will have to endure weeks of faux hatred, Fury will descend into the gutter with the verbals as per usual, that big fat obnoxious wanna be John Fury will seek to gain all the attention, coward that he is, yea it will be a full on circus, with Hearn and Warren rubbing their hands with glee, I swear no money will be shelved out by me to watch the fight.
    stay safe BF, chat soon.
    Mike.
