I think he has a chance; Ryan Garcia ain't no mini-Mike Tyson.

 

I am saying this solely because of the weight cut, otherwise I think it would be a very competitive fight, and would not pick Garcia with any confidence due to his past performances.

 

He´ll be cramping like a lil girl on her first period! bloated, sluggish, sloshy!

In the past i would have said that weight cut would make a fighter a sluggish punchbag, but witnessing how many of these UFC fighters make weight, then with help of sports science/nutrition they rehydrate etc, so on fight night they are basically a weight class or two higher and perform well, makes me say Conor cannot be ruled out, now if a rehydration clause had been in the contract, then yes Garcia 100% would win.

We shall soon see if Benn junior can follow in his fathers footsteps and become the champ, or whether it will be just a very well paid loss.

 

Conor has nowhere near the power his father had.

I shouldn't really want to stay up to see two cheaters duke it out, but have a feeling it might be decent. The Benn Eubank fights had some decent action even if not highest quality.

Opetaia v Mikaeljan i'm hoping delivers as well!

 

Garcia-Benn all depends on which of the cheats is on the best PEDs, but if they are both at their PED-ed up best, Garcia wins easily. He's a real fighter as opposed to a manufactured legacy fighter. Also there is the weight thing.

Opetaia should win but Mikaeljan should arguably be an undefeated fighter, as all of his fights were close or screwjobs. Although I did go back and revisit the thread for the Briedis fight, and a number of posters had Briedis barely but legit winning it even though he was obviously injured. Regardless, Mikaeljon is a lot better than people realize.

I just saw the odds for this fight and I just believe it's so wide in favor of Garcia.

Gracia is being overrated and Benn is being underrated. Benn is a big guy that somehow managed to make weight.

Tonight, I think he's going to be bigger, stronger and faster. Garcia is going to Rolly'ed again.

 

Anything above 15lbs is thought as hell, and 15 itself is no joke, regardless of weight class. 20lbs is doable, but 30 is near impossible; and if someone does this, they 100% wont be anywhere near their peak on fight night.
If Benn cut 30lbs then he is going to gas in 4 rounds, and he wont be able to take punches like usual. He is going to make Garcia look like a P4P elite. They are going to call Garcia P5P after this one.
