Nigel is probably one of the more sane boxing dads, may have something to do with the elite level he fought at compared to most of the others with the exception of Eubank. Could say Chavez Sr always seems switched on too. It's a shame Jr was so lazy but he somehow got engineered a world title so he achieved something. We will see if Benn can bring a title to the family name against a respectable fighter in Garcia.

I would think he has a bit of work to do to be a serious threat to Benavidez, in defense mainly from my armchair.

he’s got a wide back and shoulders, pipe cleaner arms. But the pipe cleaner arms don’t seem to matter, look what he does to opponents with massive arms in comparison. Yarde? Zurdo? Yeah, didn’t matter.

 

Who tf counted him out against an inactive aging Gvodzyk and an aging Yarde?? Morel was the only head scratcher here and even then I felt that David’s experience made him a comfortable and clear favourite. Only genuine haters thought he’d lose the fights you mentioned as well as most fights prior like Plant, Andrade. Call it middle schooler lingo all you’d like it’s clear to anyone without David’s balls in their mouth that David’s had brilliant matchmaking in his favour.
