    I think he deserved to go out on his shield or at least be knocked down and stopped, he was still catching stuff and actively attempting to avoid shots however unsuccessfully. It's a world title fight. However, Garcia was not going to let him out of the round with over a minute left and the ref looking to stop it. He would fight to the death for all his faults and with the weight draining process it may have even led to that if he was out for two more rounds.

    depends how many generations out they are.

    I can speak to this. My wife is first generation — dual US/MX citizen but grew up in Mexico, so she’s fluent. Our kids… a hell of a lot better than Ryan (lol), but will never have my wife’s fluency and naturalness with the language. Their kids someday? Probably like Ryan.

    me? Took Spanish nearly every year in school and after many years of marriage now, I can manage. Truly becoming fluent in another language after childhood is NOT easy.

    Honestly don't understand why they don't put everyone on in the story from the get to. Pre-plan the head to head in the ring before the fight if Garcia wins and calls out Lopez.
