I think he deserved to go out on his shield or at least be knocked down and stopped, he was still catching stuff and actively attempting to avoid shots however unsuccessfully. It's a world title fight. However, Garcia was not going to let him out of the round with over a minute left and the ref looking to stop it. He would fight to the death for all his faults and with the weight draining process it may have even led to that if he was out for two more rounds.

I can speak to this. My wife is first generation — dual US/MX citizen but grew up in Mexico, so she’s fluent. Our kids… a hell of a lot better than Ryan (lol), but will never have my wife’s fluency and naturalness with the language. Their kids someday? Probably like Ryan.
