Rolly hurt him early then Ryan was gunshy the rest of the fight... Rolly isn't as bad as everyone makes out though.

That is not how boxing works. He was actively defending himself, he does not need to throw a single punch.

Quite an embarrassing performance from Benn after all his huffing and puffing, no wonder he skipped British level and followed the money. I wonder where he will go next, 154? I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to get Manny out of retirement or get Innoue to come up and meet him at middleweight. Apart from that, Eubank in the trilogy is the only realistic fight I can see him in. Zuffa may want to get some money back.

    Irish man. Because he’s a daddy’s boy ****

If he wasn’t Ben’s son, where would he be?

Happy for Ryan as this sets up a fight with Lopez. Ryan has had 2 consecutive tailor made fights barrios and Benn. He’s looked sensational. Lopez presents a better challenge and quality unification fight. Can’t wait.

Because he's just so unlikable. Hard to make it through one of his interviews without OD'ing on the cringe

I can't see him putting in a competitive performance against any of the champs at 154.. imagine him standing next to Fundora LMAO.

It's an option, but it isn't mandatory.

you could even see tonight. Ryan really, really doesn’t like getting hit. Hurt him and he’s going to back way off. That’s how Rolly beat him.

I mean yes, he was bobbing and weaving on the ropes. He wasnt just turtling up and letting Ryan unload on his guard. He was actively dodging the offense and arguably dodged the last two punches.

Idk I just dont see how someone can support a stoppage like that in a championship fight.

If he wasnt gonna recover then just let it continue so it has a natural ending.

This was the second round, not the 10th round of a war where Benns been taking too much punishment so a mercy stoppage is fitting.

Boxing is way too soft these days.
