    Do you really think the month someone is born in effects their physiology to such a degree where it can predict how well someone can take a punch? What mechanism is at play that causes such a thing? I've loved your takes over the years but never understood the astrology stuff.

    Just saw the main event. Garcia did what we all thought he would do congratulations to him. Also what a job of careful promoting and raising Benn to a main eventer by Hearn over the course of years.

    Also Good job on the WBC making Benn the #1 contender for no reason at welterweight after not fighting there for years. Sham of a decision by them.

    I missed the Opetaia fight, he look good? What happened with the WBC title in that one?

    Which was my point — fight back or hold and ride it out.

    There’s no arguing the stoppage if the fighter who is hurt is laying on the ropes not fighting back and the other guy is teeing off.

    Absolutely! More so it affects the way they fight. Virgos and Capricorns are naturally more conservative and risk averse, so they go all out to develop their defensive prowess. Libras are wishy washy and unsure and always seem to get caught between styles, they never know what's good for them. Whereas Leos, Scorpios and Aries are just mean assholes, with tremendous willpower. So they can walk through a lot more than the average person. I could do this for all of them.

    You might want to check you facts again, he had just been dropped and 21 seconds had passed without him throwing a single punch whilst Ryan was throwing and landing some hurtful punches. It was going to only end up with your boy getting hurt very badly

    I mean I'm a Capricorn and very risk adverse so you did get me right out the gate. So what you're describing is more a mental thing that leads to fight styles.

    I believe a good chin is something you are born with physically and separate to any style developed by mentality. Even if we are talking about mentality, I still don’t see the mechanism between the month someone is born in and their fixed psychology. What’s the actual causal chain there?

    Im sure that has a lot to do with it, but there is also just natural coordination I think thats not really training based. His footwork for example. I know plenty of people that have a fraction of his training but dont overstep like he does. I think some degree of coordination, the type I see him lacking, is natural stuff that isnt exactly training intensive based. I think some people with high coordination but way less training wouldnt move the way he does, imo.

    At any rate he makes it work thats all that matters I guess. I dont see that it hinders him really its just odd to see, for me.
