i agree although i don't think Bivol is super talented. I think he is super hard working and his fundementals are terrific. But in terms of sheer natural talent, i don't think he is exceptional.

I've only reported the facts, and you're obviously free to think what you like. That's no problem for me. I have other opinions.

This is the next big fight to make. They need to make it happen. I personally think Benavidez would overwhelm Opetaia but should be a fun fight.

Jai makes it look easy, David isn’t built for cruiser. He should go back to 175 and fight Bivol and Beterbiev instead

He destroyed a basically heavyweight Zurdo with two flurries, and his jabs completely ruined Zurdo’s face. Zurdo is no ATG but he’s also no bum.

i don’t see why Benavidez can’t fight at cruiser.

david looked big next to jai. not just height, but barrel chest big. i honestly dont think the fight would be close, as the size difference was the one thing i though jai had going for him in the match up..

Zurdo was light heavy for most of his career though regardless of being a big one, Probably too harsh to say David can’t compete at cruiser at all cuz like you said Zurdo is good but he was also a perfect stylistic matchup for David and the two knew each other like the back of their hand due to their experience training with each other. I don’t think it reflects how he does against other top cruisers.

Benavidez looked bigger than Jai. Shamefully really.

I'd say Noel is better than Zurdo though

I think Jai possess the power and skills to stop Benavidez but he does look too vulnerable at times for my liking. He gets hit too much and has been hurt in like 4 fights now which is a concern

I like Jai's chances. I think he's a bit special (in a good way). You don't qualify for an Olympics at 16 years of age without that being the case. Great that he's going to get the chance to prove it against Benavidez. Won't be easy fighting over there on Cico de Mayo day but Opetaia is good enough to pull it off if he gets a fair shake from the ref & judges.

No doubt that the deck will be heavily stacked in Benavidez favour

David will stop Jai so no excuses will matter. He has fought 3 southpaws in his last 5 fights and beat them up. Jai is very open to the right hand and David has a killer lead right. If you have leaky defense you're a dead man vs Benavidez unless you can box like Plant, which Jai won't do. He will get drawn into a fight. He has a punchers chance but that's about it. I got David stopping him within 6.

Jai will beat him convincingly, David did look bigger but that was a tight and conditioned cruiser compared to someone at walking around weight, both are big ****ers but Jai is better. Great fight, can’t wait to see it

Both fighters to the heart if it happens
