We all know AJ is a Glass Jawed fighter. Fury himself has been put down by very light and underwhelming punchers in his career. Fury is also feather fisted especially for his size. For all his many faults AJ does still have savage power in his right hand.

Is this fight as simple as it coming down to The Chins of the respective fighters? I think so.

    Thoughts?

I think it'll come down to reflexes and timing

Both hit hard enough to hurt each other though Fury has better recovery

Whichever fighter can dictate the pace and consistently get their shots off wins

A less mobile heavier fury is an easier target for Joshua but a taller more relaxed fighter like Fury might have too much for him

Hard to say based on what these guys have left. I would have said Fury by stoppage a few years ago. The fight is probably more competitive now

AJ has nothing to beat Fury with

Raw power isn't enough to overcome skill, chin, heart, balls and stamina advantage

I think AJ gets a overly harsh rep on his chin.

    Never been one punch KO'd.

Hes been down in 4 fights but always got back up. Got up after huge punches against Dubois who hits far harder against fury could.

Strange how the same isnt put to Tyson when he gets knocked down by Cunningham, and usyk and ngannou who they've both faced.

I clearly stated Fury has been put down by mediocre punchers. Both AJ and Fury have Chin liabilities the conundrum is that AJ who has the inferior Chin of the two is a savage puncher and Fury is feather fisted. Hence my question.

Yeah that's what I was trying to say. The perception is that AJ has an inferior chin, but does he? And by chin I'm taking that to mean getting knocked down.

They've faced 3 mutual opponents, Vlad Ngannou, and Usyk.

Fury knocked down by 2, AJ from the other.

Not to be confused with powers of recovery which fury has in spades, granted.

Zero interest anymore even as a Brit.

Joshua’s punch resistance has totally gone and the timing isn’t there anymore.

Fury’s legs have gone and he can’t set anything up.

It will come down to whoever has declined the least and I feel that might be AJ as he has looked after himself better over the years.

Fury feather fisted? Not the hardest puncher out there but feather fisted?

He’s absolutely feather fisted for a 270 pound boxer. AJ while having many faults still has savage power. That doesn’t bode well for Fury’s Chin.

When he used to fight on the back foot he was definitely feather fisted.

In recent years, he has been setting his feet more and getting more weight behind his shots, so he isn't feather fisted now. However, for a world level fighter, his power is average. Maybe even a bit below average these days.

This is why I favor Fury to win this. You gotta have a mandible in this game, and Joshua's chin right now is fragile as they come

What we do know is when this fight takes place glass WILL shatter one way or the other.
