Ex team GB boxer, could not get fights as pro so went to bare knuckle. Great documentary This content is protected
Like I said again and again: Bare knuckle preys on the vulnerable, and no one in the sport has longevity due to the brutality. BKFC is the biggest promotion out there, here are their current champions who have had 10 or more career fights: Britain Hart 11-3 Christine Ferea 12-1 Lorenzo Hunt 14-2 David Mundell 10-2 Kai Stewart 10-0 So, out of 13 champions only 5 have managed to fight more than 10 times in their bare knuckle careers, and only one of them has managed 15 fights. I liked bare knuckle at first, but now I see it for what it is, and I think it should be banned again.
I presume its because they have got their experience in other types of combat sports like boxing Mma etc
BKB is the last resort for many fighters that either could not make it or are too old. Hart couldn’t make it in boxing and Hunt and Ferea couldn’t make it in MMA so this was the last resort for them to be a professional fighter. Good for them I guess.
Its funny because bkf is safer than boxing because of its brutality. Boxing gloves/padding lead to cte/parkinsons bc of the repeated damage. BKF is too brutal for repeated blows. Kinda funny how that works...bit of a paradox
Nah, I don´t believe this for a second; look at the amount of knockdowns in every event. These guys are fighting like they are wearing gloves.
