This is sad. $125k in advance purchase to determine if this goes ahead. Truly sad

Why is the first question. The 2nd is who the hell would pay for this?

If true, it would be 1st MaCall KO loss (unfortunately).

Ike looked like crap in his last fight, but McCall is in his 60s and looked beyond afwul in his last outing. Ike still can punch and is very fit for his age. If it happens, Ike wins by KO

That kind of language is going to dissuade most people from purchasing. That being said $10 is reasonable for a small novelty PPV(Ikes fight in Africa was like $30) $10 for a fight like that and maybe Rahman vs another old timer would be a good deal for fans of sideshows.

This is sad, although I would not object to Ike against Rahmen, or Briggs. McCall just too old.

I can attest from personal experience that post 60 you are severely diminished physically. If this travesty happens, I doubt McCall gets out of the first round. Hope this doesn't happen.

I'm assuming enough time has passed since Ibeabuchi was ordered removed that his ten year ban is presumably up. But he was also convicted of an aggravated felony, which generally makes somebody inadmissible for the rest of their lives. I'd have to think he'd have trouble meriting a favorable exercise of discretion for a waiver, so I really don't see how he gets back into the country. I know money talks, but it's not like he's an economic boost to the area he's fighting in either.

I'd say I wouldn't mind seeing ancient fighters sparring each other but someone rightfully said on another thread they don't get paid for sparring. At this point this would be a move around and a spar basically anyway one is north of 50 and one is north of 60. We don't like paying a fortune for young healthy fighters being put on ppv constantly so this is a hard sell.

Winner fights the AJ Fury winner in an eliminator, right?

Mind you ... this is kind of cool. McCall was one of my favorite fighters in the past.

Which scumbag promoter is trying to squeeze every last penny he/she can out of having these two guys fight?
