Maybe giving the other boxer a sustained beating over many rounds proving your superiority is more impressive?

Though brief, Joe also displayed a snippet of how he was going to deal with Max’s right/counter right over a potential longer haul. When Joe jabbed, he quickly re-holstered his left into a high guard position - but in tandem with same, Joe also quickly took a step back after jabbing for double insurance against Max’s right hand finding a home.
Fair point. Some victories over many rounds can be possibly reasoned as being more comprehensive than victories over a much shorter route - though the latter mode of victory often carries the greater “wow” factor and sometimes can also give off a false vibe that the victor is somehow invincible. However, for as long as it did last (2 mins or so?) I don’t know that any fighter could’ve posted a more comprehensive victory in the time allowed than Louis did. He wrecked Max in every way possible.
