Maybe anyone here have his fights ? Especially against Young Dick Tiger and WBO title shot against Verno Phillips?

 

At one point in time I had both of those fights recorded on vcr tapes- for years I recorded all the fights from the Forum, even the ones that I went to. Haven't seen those tapes in over 20 years.

 

And you don't know working now this tapes or not.

 

I don't. They have been in storage unit sine 2006 but they worked fine when I put them in there.

 

I remembered asking you about Alfred Ankamah's fights on the Forum once, and you gave me roughly the same answer.
And am I right in thinking you don't have access to those tapes?

I believe he had to get off the canvas in one of his Jorge Vaca wins.

Would love some of his Jorge Vaca fights, always liked Jorge, gave Honeyghan a real going over in the first fight, destroyed in rematch but then beat the massive punching Quincy Taylor twice and stopped Breland.

 

It really surprised me, in looking at his record, that LLanes only fought twice at the Forum. I would have bet my house that it was at least 5 or 6 times.

 

I watched him only against Eric Regan when he was stopped in 1 round.

 

I also would like to see his trilogy against Vaca but it very hard to find.

 

Yes only two times.He was Mexican middleweight and super welterweight champion.
