Bivol clearly has the better resume. Canelo, Zurdo and Pascal alone clear the conversation.

Blown up roided midget who has struggled with boxers for his entire career, a basic weight bully cherry picker, a washed up hasbeen that he couldn't even stop. Those are some fantastic wins.

Bivol hid from Beterbiev for years, one fighter actively sought out the other Champions in the Division, the other one aged that fighter out until the Saudis stepped in and he could avoid the Beterbiev fight no more ! Bivol also dropped the WBC belt to avoid Benavidez as mandatory,Beterbiev would not have done a punk move like either !

You think BOTH fighters are average level fighters FFS. Your opinion is null and void.

It's getting to the point where even the biggest Bivol fanboys aren't crawling out of the woodwork to defend him(there's still some) anymore.

I find it funny that Beterbiev fans always say he ‘collected the belts’ and Bivol didn’t, like this puts Beterbiev above Bivol, without ever acknowledging that 1) Canelo won the WBO by KO’ing Kovalev then vacated it, then Bivol beat Canelo. If Canelo had just kept the belt Bivol would’ve been WBO champ, but instead: 2) Joe Smith Jr. won the vacant belt (by way of a dodgy decision) and then Beterbiev beat him, but Bivol had already beaten Smith Jr. a couple years before when he was considered a high risk-low reward fight.

There’s a nonsense narrative going round about Bivol having tried to age Beterbiev out, but both fighters were calling each other out for years, Bob Arum said he wouldn’t make the fight because there was no money in it. The only reason the fight happened was because of the Saudis. After Artur got a gift decision in the first fight he did an interview saying he didn’t want to do a rematch - he likely only did the second fight because of the Saudi money. But according to his fans it’s Bivol who is ‘aging out’ a man he already beat twice.

I like how you conveniently ignore that Bivol has frozen out the entire LHW division for 2 years now.

Ignored the fact that he was out the ring with a back injury, came back to fight his mandatory, and is now fighting his other mandatory? Who did he freeze out?

Yeah a back "injury" that he said he already had in the Beterbiev fights and years prior. Beterbiev had surgery and still made the fight(won might I add) and gave Bivol an immediate rematch. Two fights that hold zero interest except to fanboys like you. People want to see good interesting and competitive fights. Bivol wants to milk his title run for as long as he can. No true fan of the sport should be ok with that.

I never said I was interested in those fights, I was asking how Bivol had ‘frozen out the whole division’. You’ve still not named a single fighter that he’s frozen out.

Lol you purposefully don’t believe the guy has a back injury because that fits your narrative. Do you also put quote marks around the words “atypical finding”?

Most people don't want to see unified champions stall out a division for 2 years(it's going to be longer) fighting no hopers. You clearly do.

Once again you’ve replied and not named a single person that Bivol has frozen out. Who are you talking about?

Yep. Eifert and Smith are the other top guys in the division you're right. in a span of 2 1/2 years thats the best any real fan of the division and sport of boxing could hope for.
