    Looks like a pro with man strength sparring with a good young amateur. Hedges has been good but there’s a lack of physicality and I think he’s being broken down.

    Brown looks the real deal, Hedges looks a solid British level contender. It was a good fight while it lasted.

    Impressive from Brown, as Hedges was no mug – seven fights, seven knockouts, British and Commonwealth champion, and already surpassed the achievements of Conor Benn in a little over a year as a pro.

    That's how you do it.

    Edit: Just a shame this is another fight that will extend the shelf-life of Sam Jones.

    I came to this thread - having just watched the fight on YouTube - to say exactly this.

    Pat seems a nice bloke but limited in the ring.

    Power only gets you so far.

    He's only seven fights in, hopefully they keep him at this level for a year or so, let him try and win the belt outright, etc. Crazy, people on the show and online talking about the Riley fight – Vidal's streets ahead at the moment, but obviously something they can build towards down the road.

    If he's still making the same mistakes 18 months from now, then obviously he's plateaued, but last night was a good win. Obviously Eddie's in need of his next headliner and PPV star, but someone like Riley would make light work of Pat right now, and possibly damage him in the process.
