And would make no sense if Floyd's trying to become #1 Welterweight, but I highly doubt he's trying to do that so this fight makes sense for Floyd money wise, even if it means this fight would be a complete joke.

    I dunno about that.

Puerto Rico vs Mexico...Cotto vs Margarito did 500K how much would Cotto-ODLH do?

i still havent seen a solid source to support that 500k #

but cotto & marg would do well on the strength of oscar.

manny brings his own fan base to the table

Let's say that the # is incorrect in terms of buyrates (although I've seen a few places listing it in the 500K range).

Manny Pac's last PPV had -250 buys and a half filled arena.

Manny Pac is a big star certainly...but it's debatable as to whose a bigger star.

And you are satisfied with this? Weeding themselves out? No disrespect, but what kind of sport do you want to watch? American idol boxing? If you like guys that think of ways like a genius like you say, to avoid historic wars and don't fight like men, then go and watch jeopardy too, instead of boxing.

It's just a big-money fight which all depends on how Pac exactly beats DLH IF he does, if it's impressive then this could be a good fight, we still know nothing of Pacquiao at Welterweight. We're just ASSUMING Mayweather might consider that fight, there are no facts here at all.

As for being the #1, he was already there before retiring.

I'm talking about now, if he wants to be #! Welterweight again he's got to face better competition than the 1st time around. He would have to beat Margarito and I'm not certain he wants to face Margarito. Margarito is better than both Judah and Baldomir. Would Floyd be willing to face Margarito and Williams? I highly doubt it.

Oscar tko 4-7 over Pac. To big to strong,Oscar hits to hard and takes to good a shot to lose Pac IMO.

The fans. The fans want to see him face the best which is Antonio Margarito and Paul Williams. You want to prove you are the #1 Welterweight? Beat those 2 guys.
