So, why is Pacquiao not fighting Margarito?!

    We all know why de la Hoya is not fighting Margarito, but if Pacquiao, the best fighter in the world, wants a big challenge and LWW just doesn't provide a big enough challenge, AND if he's not sure who the best-of-the-rest LW is (Casamayor/JMM/Campbell (Guzman is a LWW these days (!)) why does he not fight the best WW instead of one of the best LMWs who will struggle to make WW?

    It looks like Pacman is going the same way Mayweather went - selling out. It's sad. Many people had big hopes for Manny, but he's let boxing and the fans down...after fighting the best, he takes part in this freak show with the Golden Boy, to cash in.

    Pacquiao did sell out. Its as much DLH's fault like Pacuiao's that this joke happened.

    the fight is a circus. Pac sold out because its too much money for anyone to say no to. Even Calderon would fight Oscar for this type of money.

    Sometimes the cherry is too juicy not to pick it.

    Only way he can win some credit back is if he gives 2/3ds of the money to charity, for me.

    ...whomever he wanted was David Diaz.;) If you're the best in the world, you have a responsibility greater than everyone else does. This fight is a disgrace.

    most of the blame rest squarely on the shoulders of de la hoya. this guy is a cash cow, who messes up the best matchups in 3 weight divisions by insisting to stick around. the money he brings in, makes everyone want to fight him. this sport is a business after all and hoya is as shred as they come. if anyone is a disgrace it's de la hoya for not fighting margarito.
