Why Floyd may never fight again.

    His ego.

    He truly believes he is in the realm of DLH when it comes to PPV draws. There is no way in HELL he's getting the PPV numbers he got with DLH, not even half. Just cause people bought the fight to see DLH does not mean these people who saw you beat him will translate to PPV buying fans for you.

    To put things in perspective

    Floyds 3 PPV totals before DLH:
    vs Baldomire 325,000
    vs Zab 374,000
    vs Gatti 365,000

    Compare that to DLH one fight which generated 925,000 buy against a chump like Mayorga.

    I don't care who he fights, he's not getting near a a million, he'll be lucky to get 500,000. Its all about the money which translate to ego which translate to no fight.

    Very few people will question his boxing ability. What I'm sick about is hearing this who should he fight next. It should be who can give him the biggest payday and there just isn't right now.

    so now its all about payday again. . . when Margarito offered the most money it was all about the linear title. . . :-(

    the dude is a coward and a scumbag, he will NEVER be the draw he thinks he is. I think deep down he knows this, thats why he throws his panties at DLH every chance he gets.

    If only the WIzard could grant this cowardly lion some courage.

    ****, since he and everyone else thinks that he is so good and that much better than everyone else. All he has to do, is do 3 PPVs in the next year and he will have his million PPV buys. The problem is that he is lazy and a *****. Instead of going out and getting what he wants, he's just gonna beg Oscar for another welfare handout. He knows that some of the available tough fights, he will lose. Just another loud mouth chump !!!

    He truly believes? Nah :-( the guy is in complete denial if he'll disregard all the facts. He can make a complete "ass rat" out of himself trying to HYPE his fights but he won't break or come close to De La Hota's record in PPVs. The hatred scheme he is trying to generate won't make him any more popular than he is today.

    he is the second biggest draw in boxing..name one fighter besides hoya that can approach those numbers. :lol:

    Dude I'm no where near a Floyd fan. I find his fight boreing. I pay to be etertain. It pisses me off when these idiots on here say you don't know boxing if you find Floyd boreing. What a load of ****. He's a prize fighter. We pay him to entertain us. The way he box is not the end all of boxing and is not the only way to box.

    Now back on topic, Floyd is all about the money. Has been and will always be. Its not abou the best and its not about legacy. Its about money. Teh sooner people accepts that about him the quicke we can all forget about him.

    2nd biggest? :rofl :rofl Lets wait and see his next fight before we say that. cause his numbers before DLH doesn't back up the number 2 PPV draw.

    I fail to connect the dots in the OP.

    I fiercely dislike PBF, but just because he can't generate the same amount of PPVs he is gonna stay retired?

    Staying outside the ring will for sure not change this fact - nor do I think it means all that much, since he can draw alot of people; both haters and nuthuggers alike - and everything in between.

    Because Floyd now demands huge purse. The only way to get these huge payday is with a huge PPV. His PPV numbers minus DLH says he won't make the big payday therefore he'd rather stay retired then be ridicule about his no draw and low pay.

    He'll stay retired because he feels he deserves a lot more of money which is not proportionate to the PPV buys he can generate, that's all there is to this. :yep
