I scored it 118-112, foreman was helpless most of the time against the fast and accurate schulz, who was counterpunching him to death. people always complain about the robberies in germany, but this is a blatant example of a robbery in the us.

Schultz dominated him. I feel that George in his second career is over rated.

He's a forgotten great. The way Mighty Minto simply took him apart is a testament to how great Minto is, not Schultz's shortcomings :thumbsup He would of defeated many a champion past and present.

One of the most blatent and disgusting robberies in sports history.

People wonder why Euros don't want to fight in the U.S. this became a black mark for a long time now it's just the money.

Yeah, somebody should post pics of Big George post Schultz beatdown. I remember I didn't watch the fight live but saw the pics the next day and I said to myself..."this guy won the fight?"

interestingly jerry roth, who scored foreman-morrisson 109-118, scored it 115-114 for foreman, though he should know how it looks like when foreman is getting outboxed. steve weisfeld, where have you been?

Yes indeed, I heard that when IBF ratings chairman Doug Beavers exposed the IBF president Bob Lee sr to the FBI , The Shultz v Foreman fight was supposed to have been a major issue as some of its officials were given back handers surrounding that event.. Shultz goes down in history in my eyes as the world heavyweight champ for a short period in reality.. King for at least a day.. He should be proud and tell his grand kids that he was heavyweight champion of the world.. because he was.. (any objections?)

Think I had it 8-4 Schulz...I haven't watched it in a looong time.

I remember being quite depressed come the last couple rounds, as George's battered face shipped blows as he slowly trudged forward.

It's forgotten, but there was quite a bit of expectation around Foreman after he kayod Moorer. For a few months there, people were talking as if he could unify the belts and be a big-punching dominant force.

Foreman actually outlanded Shultz in the punch stats! I scored 115-114 for Foreman. Foreman won most of the early - mid rounds while Schultz won more later rounds. However, just because Schultz performed better than anticipated doesn't mean you give him bonus points for a stout heart and chin. He ran from Foreman the majority of the time and only stopped with an occasional burst of flurries which looked more impressive than it was by comparison to the lumbering Foreman. George landed many hard jabs and body shots. Watch and you will see.
