Why would i be jealous of a guy who gets sparked by a strong wind? Jealous isnt the right word at all, my main problem is the public has been sold a product of a "complete" fighter who has world class abilities, when in fact he has fallen at the first competitive fight he has. Warren and team Khan are both as much to blame as each other. Yes i am entitled to my own opinion and angry is the right word to use as there is to much money getting thrown at so called "prodigys" without there being any substance to back it up. As to Degale he has had far less coverage inthe papers, news and overall coverage relating to the Olympics, why? I dont know. When Khan actually fights a live opponent and beats him then i may consider myself to be wrong about my judgement of him.
Charging 15 brick to watch Khan was insane , still i would have payed it to have had a Warren cam the night his latest cash cow got KTFO :deal £15 ? ****ing priceless
That's an easy one. Degale is not as newsworthy as Khan, who was 17 and from an asian background, both factors which make an easy hook for a media story. See also Tom Daley, who got far more coverage than many medal winners. We know why that is, right? Khan was also a star in an Olympic year that featured comparatively less British stars than this year. We won more than twice as many gold medals in 2008 than 2004, 50% more silvers and there's only so much media attention to go round. Sounds like you should be angry at the system, rather than Khan personally.
When Khan actually wins a fight against a legitimate fighter, whilst not trying to rip off and con the public then i may start to support him. Ive actually never come across a guy who didnt want the arrogance to be wiped off his face and everyone i have spoken to about the fight was over the moon with him getting ko'd.
A legitimate fighter.... Is Willie Limond a con.. "Amir Khan took him apart....watch the fight...snapped his nose" Amir Khan is big box office he is dictating british boxing, thats what happens when you win a Olympic Silver Medal at a young age, thats what happens when you capture the public's imagination. This is britain.."We build our athlete's up and then try to knock them back down" Amir Khan is down.."But he is not out" He is not just gonna disappear like critics want...
Willie Limond nearly beat your beloved Khan and he is a blown up super featherweight with no pop in his punches. Limond is a respectful opponent yes, but Khan also had all he could handle with Michael Gomez, who once again is a blown up super feather, who is at the tail end of his career and once again he put the china chin on his arse and gavehim a tougher than it should have been fight. When Khan actually faced a young, big lightweight like himself he got blown away, not just beaten but obliterated:yep You can gloss over the faults of your "superstar" all you want but the fact remains the first legitimate lightweight he fought he got raped.:hi: A suposed all time great in the making should not be struggling with the Gomez and Limonds of this world. As for Amir Khan being British boxing then obviously you havent heard of a Mr Hatton or a Mr Calzaghe two ESTABLISHED fighters who have taken on and beaten the best. As for the future of British boxing we have a guy called Mr Haye, you may have heard of him? former cruiserweight champion, and again an established fighter, who whilst running his mouth actually fights good opponents. And for a final memo Khan was not taking Limond apart, it was a tough, close fight and it was a good finish by Khan but it still doesnt gloss over the fact he was hurt badly by a guy who wasnt even a puncher at his natural weight which is/was 130:hi:
Amir Khan ended Willie Limonds career, he's not going to win his next fight. And yes i am fan of David Haye... I don't give a sh*t who the future of british boxing is, all i am saying is that i commend Amir Khans efforts. "He is a fighter, not a quitter"

He may be a fighter.....but a seriously flawed one. He may not be a quitter because he was at the gym the next day, but he is going to be because thats his job. I predict he will fall agin at his next stern test whenever that comes. P.S. Willie Limond is not finished.
Amir Khan will **** Willie Limond up..! If he nearly beat Amir Khan, let's make the rematch. BURST HIS OTHER EAR DRUM..
Amir Khan is so weak he couldnt even **** the palm of his own hand!! So what if he is capable of beating Limmond (which isn't a guarantee), he will never amount to anything beyond European level. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a numpty. Anyway, i'm with TFFP, **** Amir Khan!!!!!! Skinny little con job.
